Baseball Hall of Famer (1869–1955) who was a pitcher, manager, and owner. DS, signed “Clark C. Griffith,” one page, 6.25 x 4, April 7, 1928. Griffith assigns the contract of Edwin Wells to Birmingham of the Southern League. Signed at the conclusion by Griffith. Central vertical fold, affecting a small portion of signature, horizontal fold near top, and a uniform shade of toning, otherwise fine condition.
